I was born and raised in Central New York. In my family, dinners were (and still are) a whole family collaboration. I was taught to always try something at least once, and to experiment with unexpected flavor combinations. Although I love to cook, I have always been drawn more towards baking and desserts. Some of my fondest memories growing up were making five different kinds of holiday cookies with my mom, aunts, and grandmother that would follow some elaborate meal prepared by my father. I always made a mess.
I went to Wheaton College in Norton, MA and graduated with a degree in Mathematics in 2013. I decided to move to Boston without a job and immediately jumped at the chance to work at Flour. When I’m not at Flour you can find me second-shooting for my sister’s photography business, drawing, traveling, or binge-watching bad TV.
