Originally from England via way of Barbados, Grenada, France, and the US I have come to think of myself as being from everywhere and nowhere. As far as the US, Massachusetts feels like home to me. I graduated from St. Lawrence University with a major in French and a minor in Native studies. My culinary journey started in the kitchen with my mum from a very young age. Her passion for entertaining and cooking was contagious. In 2002 I left for 9 months of culinary school in Paris and returned 12 years later. After 4 years in Maryland/DC I am finally home!
Pastry has always been my passion. Making people’s life moments is inspiring and motivating. The Flour culture and community is a perfect blend. I feel like I am going back to my roots, but with a twist. I have always worked as a Chef, but have this wonderful opportunity to be on the front lines and touch people with our food and hospitality.
When I am not at Flour, I enjoy spending my time with friends and family; going out for a great meal. I love canoeing, camping, and playful moments with my pups, Harper and Chance. My favorite color is purple and my favorite song is Soulshine by the Allman Brothers’ band.
