I grew up in North Bend, WA (30 min East of Seattle) and have lived in Boston since 2013. I fell in love with bakeries when I started my first job in high school at a small family-owned bakery where I worked as a front counter staff. Outside of work and school, I spent hours each day watching the Food Network and became fascinated with cooking and baking. I always looked forward to the nights at home when it was my turn to make the family dinner so that I could try out new recipes. In the years that have passed since high school, I have held many different positions in the bakery/restaurant industry from doing prep work in a pizza restaurant to managing a high volume coffee shop in downtown Boston. In my free time, I can usually be found trying out different restaurants in the area while drinking a nice glass of wine or cheering on my favorite football team. I am so thrilled to be a part of the Flour team!
