I am a painter, avid cook and cheese lover raised in Upstate New York. During my four-year mentorship with artists Darryl Hughto and Susan Roth, I actively pursued the foundation of my art and gained immense pleasure from being immersed in Susan's kitchen. Inspired by the range of transformation that simple ingredients can make with the addition of herbs, spices and love, I adapted Susan's formula to my own-visiting the farmers' market each weekend with my husband and returning home with a plethora of fresh beautiful ingredients (usually finding their way as still-life in the studio first) transformed into loving meals shared with friends.
I am delighted to be a part of Flour supported by a phenomenal staff who take the utmost care to create and serve such fabulous food. Although Flour has countless treats that I love, you will typically find me raving about the Cornmeal Lime Cookies, our uh-mazing Cupcakes or Chef's invariably delicious Soup of the Day.
Before Flour, I managed picture framing galleries in Boston on Newbury St. and then sister-stores in West Hollywood & Beverly Hills. It was at these establishments that I found my enthusiasm for business and management.
Other than missing my great friends in L. A., The Huntington Gardens and some incredible eateries, I cannot express with more zeal my absolute happiness that I am back in the north-east. WhooHoo!!
