Corey Johnson, Chef

"Originally from Verona Island, Maine, I now live in Cambridge with my girlfriend Emily, two feline radicals, and a small forest of plants.

Even as a boy helping my mother and grandmother in the kitchen, I’ve always enjoyed cooking.

From my first job as a fry cook at Millet’s to an inspiring three-year run at Portland’s Fore Street Restaurant, and now here at Flour, what started as culinary curiosity has grown into one of my deepest loves.

When I am not cooking I enjoy playing one of my seven guitars, riding my super-fast bike, expanding my knowledge and collection of craft beer, or doing anything outdoors, and schooling my girlfriend in scrabble.

Oh, and I can never have enough ice cream!”
